Recess is over, school is in session! Changed up the exercises a bit this week because it was getting hard to stay focused. The timing was just about right though, because I was originally supposed to take this week off but I figured I could go through til next month before I take a break. Here’s a look at what I did this week
Dumbbell press/fly combo- 4sets/12 w/15lb dbs (the most I have at home 😦 )
Tricep dips -4sets/12
Wide push-ups -4sets/12
Upside down push-ups alternating w/back flyes 2sets each flyes w/15lb dbs
Deep squat aka ass to grass- 4sets/12 15lb dbs
Open/close 4sets/ 1 at 10 rest at 12
Bulgarian split squat 4sets/12 w/15lb dbs
Sissy squat 4sets/12 w/20lbs
Thigh squeeze- 3sets/100
Bridge- 3sets/10 (little different feel than hip thrusts….I like!)
I’ve done my long run and hills this week but still have an interval run to do to call this week complete. Got that slotted for tomorrow.
Going forward I will be replacing hills with the bridge/hip thrusts and swings for the glute activation and adding back in a tempo run for cardio. Planning to finalize my workouts for the next 8wks by end of day tomorrow so check back if you’re curious!
